Cancer is a leading cause of death in adults and a significant cause of disease and treatment-related morbidity. Knowledge about the underlying biology and genetics of cancer is rapidly expanding, and novel treatment options and supportive care interventions are constantly changing—keep pace with the most recent developments through this program.
The Adult Oncology Specialty Certificate is designed for Master’s-prepared nurses and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) seeking advanced training in oncology from leading researchers and clinicians in the country. The program is led by highly experienced faculty who are renowned experts in the field of oncology, and students will have the opportunity to interact with nationally recognized scientists and clinicians from the School of Nursing and the Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center.

School of Nursing certificate programs are not eligible for federal aid.
