Hannah arrived at Penn Nursing for graduate studies after having served with the Peace Corps Global Health Service Partnership in Tanzania as a nurse engaged in capacity building. Her global journey has not stopped since completing her MSN in 2018. Her work in Bangladesh, ranges from rural midwifery capacity-building to maternal and child health initiatives with the Cox’s Bazar-based Rohingya refugee community. Most recently, Hannah is implementing programming to address health and safety challenges for urban garment factory workers, further exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hannah is a double-board certified Nurse Practitioner and Nurse-Midwife public health specialist (Penn MSN). She focuses on international public health programming and implementation as Technical Director and Gender Specialist at Integral Global. Her extensive experience includes on-the-ground international capacity-building throughout South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, within humanitarian crisis and response settings, as well as stable host community contexts. Hannah has focused on interdisciplinary program development, working with organizations such as WHO, UNFPA, IOM, UNHCR, ISCG, CDC, DOD, DTRA, Ministries of Health and other NGO and government organizations. Her work has focused on bringing care access and quality programming to vulnerable and low-resource contexts with the greatest need. Her current academic appointments include Tufts University School of Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, Center for Global Health.
