Peggy Norton-Rosko, DNP, RN, NEA-BC

Peggy Norton-Rosko has enjoyed the nursing profession for over 30 years. She moved into her first leadership role 18 years ago with the desire to focus on caring for the people who care for patients. A driving force in her leadership is to help others understand the important and difficult work that happens at the point of care. She currently serves as the Regional Chief Nursing Officer for the Illinois and Indiana regions of Trinity Health which include Loyola Medicine in the Chicago area and St. Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN. She holds an affiliate faculty position with the Loyola University of Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. She also serves on the Alumni Association Board for Northern Illinois University. Her clinical background includes many years as an ICU and advanced practice nurse in cardiovascular specialties.

Peggy has been working with her team to create a more respectful and sustainable practice environment for our colleagues at the point of patient care. She was interested in the fellowship as an opportunity to create new solutions to address the challenges in today’s healthcare. Nurses and other care givers are facing challenges that need innovative solutions. She has focusing on different ways to care for patients integrating technology and developing new roles to do the work differently.

Outside of work Peggy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and giving back to the community through volunteering and serving on boards for organizations that focus on education and the health and wellbeing of the community.
