Sandra Plank, DNP, CNOR, NPD-BC

Sandi is an experienced healthcare leader and educator. She currently drives clinical education, simulation, talent development, outpatient diabetes education & management, and well-being for Corewell Health South, a division of the largest healthcare system in the state of Michigan. Sandi is an experienced Chief Learning Officer skilled in healthcare management, leadership, and organizational development, and clinical education and simulation. With experience in many specialties, she was integral in the organizational implementation of the Electronic Health Record. She is a strong business development professional with a DNP in Executive Leadership focused on Nursing Administration.

With over 30 years as a Registered Nurse, Plank brings a unique perspective to healthcare learning and development, patient education, and well-being initiatives. Sandi is passionate about improving health, inspiring hope, and saving lives and works continuously to modernize healthcare learning and development.

Sandi directs organization-wide change strategies and oversees a broad portfolio of quality, competency-based healthcare education that includes team member training and development; clinical education; leader training and development; simulation-based learning for team members, clinicians, and physicians; outpatient diabetes and nutrition education; and knowledge management.
