Tracy Zhang is a junior studying nursing with a minor in global health. In the future, she hopes to become a family NP and be a travel nurse for a while. Tracy is involved in SNAP and APANSA, and outside of the SON, she is engaged in Big Brothers Big Sisters, IMPAC (Impactful Mentorship at Penn for Adopted Children), West Philadelphia Tutoring Project; and and serves as a research assistant at PAIR. She is grateful for all of the opportunities she has had here so far, from volunteering to traveling, and is excited for what else is to come.

The most memorable moment I've had at Penn Nursing so far is...?

Attending APANSA events and meeting so many people with similar interests.

Is there anything that you wish you knew before coming to Penn?

I wish I knew the importance of taking time for yourself.

What is something that you really like about your program of study?

I love that the program gives us flexibility to have a minor and to take interesting non-nursing classes that align with our interests.

What's your favorite thing about your cohort and/or the community at Penn?

I love that the entire nursing community at Penn is very supportive of one another.

What or who has inspired you the most while pursuing your degree, and why?

My family is my inspiration because of their constant determination and hard work that pushes me to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible.
