The most memorable moment I've had at Penn Nursing so far is...?

Even though the courses have been challenging, knowing that everyone is willing to help each other out has made studying for exams feel less tense.

Is there anything that you wish you knew before coming to Penn?

There are so many guest lectures and workshops that all students can attend for free. I’ve went to a few already and I got to say that they are very interesting, so I advise to other students to check them out.

What is something that you really like about your program of study?

NURS 1010: Nature of Nursing Practice is such a great class for first year nurses like myself. I learned many interesting topics like reflective practice and the nursing process as Dr. Kachmar does a phenomenal job in teaching them to us. My favorite part during lecture is when she brings guest speakers to show us what other nurses are up to. It gets me excited of the different career pathways with just a Nursing Degree!

What's your favorite thing about your cohort and/or the community at Penn?

I like how everyone in my cohort are involved in many different activities already. It is cool to see my classmate’s interests outside of the classroom.

What or who has inspired you the most while pursuing your degree, and why?

I think just talking with faculty about my classes and my plans after college is what makes me excited to keep going.
