The Cedar Society
Established in 2022, the Cedar Society honors alumni and friends who have financially supported the Penn Nursing Annual Fund for the past three or more consecutive years. Cedar Society members are designated in the School’s Honor Roll and will be invited to participate in special events and opportunities. The Society takes its name from the branch of cedar which is symbolized on the original pin for the School of Nursing and represents the nursing qualities of tenderness and compassion.
The Benjamin Franklin Society is the University of Pennsylvania’s leadership unrestricted annual giving group. These distinguished donors make gifts and pledge payments of $2,500 or more to the Penn Nursing Annual Fund and across the University in any given fiscal year.
