Editing the Magazine

The Penn Nursing Magazine content is managed with a collection of widgets pulling from dynamic content in the Magazine group.

The stories and blurbs shown in each issue are curated with tags that correspond to different spots in the layout as follows:

  1. Main magazine feature: tagged magazine-primary-feature
    • Fallback (if no tagged story): any story tagged feature 
  2. Secondary feature: tagged magazine-secondary-feature
    • Fallback (if no tagged story): any story tagged feature
    • Displays Sidebar blurb if attached as related content
  3. News list: Shows all stories in issue not being shown elsewhere
  4. List feature: tagged magazine-list-feature
  5. Any story tagged magazine-full-width-image
    • No fallback (not displayed if no tagged stories)
  6. Additional secondary feature: tagged magazine-secondary-feature
    • Fallback (if no tagged story): any story tagged feature
    • Displays Sidebar blurb if attached as related content
  7. Alumni profile: tagged magazine-alumni-profile 
    • feature if not already used
      • No fallback (not displayed if no more tagged stories)

  8. Magazine Ad Space: blurb type Magazine Ad Space

    • assign to specific issue

    • one is displayed by default if an issue doesn’t have its own blurb
